Upon graduating from Southern Methodist University with a B.A in Communications and an emphasis in Journalism, Julie began working for the Plano Television Network as a news anchor/reporter for eight years. She interned with KRLD news radio in Dallas, TX, as well as KVIL. Simultaneously, she competed in the Ms. Texas U.S.A. pageant as Ms. Highland Park. Her hobbies include playing the piano and pedagogy, writing, fitness, cooking, and education. She has appeared in various commercials as well as film and continues to work on camera with Plano Television.
