Dallas Video Production FAQs #10
What should my video be about?
A web video can be about whatever you want as long as it is worthwhile and conveys a message about your business. If you want it to be a short clip about a product or aspect of your business, or an example of what you can accomplish, so be it. Spare your visitors the boredom of the material and be sure to jazz it up. Do not just put words into a web video and have them read it; that is just as ineffective as plain text.
Mix in some visually appealing aesthetics to really grab their attention. Even better, use a human! Human contact is hands down the best way to communicate a message. We haven’t transitioned into robot use yet, so keep using humans! It is recommended to give the viewers the basics of what your business does and how they can contact you after viewing the video. Provide them with just enough information to give them a taste of what they are about to feast their eyes on. Use a cliff hanger at the end of a web video, but be sure to have the rest of the information ready and visible for the visitor to locate.

I think a video is much more interesting with a person in it, but that’s just me.
