Dallas Video Production FAQs #16
How long will my video remain online?
Wherever you decide to post your video, it will remain online indefinitely. Whether you post it on your website, a video sharing site, or a social media site, you can guarantee it will always be there. The popularity of the web video is all on you, but it will be there as long as you want it to. If you are skeptical about it, check the site after a period of time and you will see it is still there. You may have to…
…do some digging, but you will find it. Don’t fret or stress about the shelf life of your video. Think of it as a bottle of wine, it will get better with age, if it is the good stuff. If you have held up your end, your video will gain hits and views with time and will be referred to in a related search or discussion. Since it is going to remain on the web, it has to be good. Avoid gaining the reputation of being an amateur and hire the right guys from the get go. Don’t be cheap or think you can do it yourself because guess what, the pro’s are called pro’s for a reason.

It can sound pricey to hire people to create my video, but it’s definitely worth it to have one good solid video that I can market the crap out of online.
Yea..lots of people these days think they are some kind of photographer or videographer. Amateur vids are everywhere! Hope more people figure out that is not the way to go!

I would never think to take off a video, but I do think people should constantly update with video. I would prefer to see new stuff over old videos that may be out of date.
As a word guy, I have a hard time with the idea that video is more powerful, but your Video That Moves does a good job exaininlpg why. As soon as my Underwood ribbon gives out, I’m going to look into one of these moving picture camera things.
Very helpful thanks!
