Does a web video need text?
A web video does not need text, unless asked for. It is beneficial, however, to highlight important points in the video by using photo, video, or text. Reiterate what you are trying to convey the most by using any of these factors. Don’t overdo it and do not have an assortment of every single one. This is not a buffet. Stick with one per …
…video and try to use it in a way that will benefit your video and your business. Highlight a few words or short phrases here and there. Do not highlight paragraphs or long statements that will take half as much time to read as it is in the video. With all other projects and web videos, use your brain and strategize. Collaborate with others on what is right and what the intended goal is. If you want text, video, or photo content within your web video, plan how it is going to be executed and what the benefits of it will be. Do not just toss it in for giggles. If you have more than one video, spice each up and make each one different. You do not want text material in each video making it monotonous and boring.
