Want to distribute web videos on other sites?
How long does it take before my videos are distributed to these other sites?
This question needs to be looked at two different ways. Are you referring to video distribution or video marketing? They are two different things so you need to specify which one you are referring to in order to avoid confusion and an angry video producer. Video distribution incorporates Vimeo, Yahoo, Google, YouTube, and other video sharing sites. In this sense, you are sharing your video not including it in other documents, links, and what not. Video marketing is a different concept from video distribution.
Video marketing involves generating traffic, attaching to other links, and embedding in articles. Notice how they are two different concepts! Understand the two before you approach a video production company to help you. If you want to upload a video to a video sharing site, it typically takes about a day. But, it depends on the location and size of your upload. If you want to upload every single video you have, then ya it will take a bit of time. If you want to upload one video, then expect the time frame of an hour to a day. Decide upon the video or videos you want to upload and where you want them.

So glad I found this blog. Great stuff. Definitely agree with you on video distributing explanation.
You’re absolutely right. YouTube is quick and easy but it’s not exactly the most formal way.
I usually get more hits on my videos when they’re on YouTube or Vimeo or Facebook, but I’m thinking about looking into some SEO.
